For the price, it does an ok job. It's not very powerful though, and before I used it for craft items, I tried making some cranberry relish in it. It couldn't handle the frozen cranberries, so I had to stop and put everything back into my other blender.For light and easy use, and for my purposes it is fine though. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who needs to crush ice or do much heavy blending.
It's made with plastic mostly, and I doubt it will last very long because of that. The blades are steel, but the turning mechanisms are not.
